Craig Murray appointed Group Director Human Resources
European missile systems group MBDA has appointed Craig Murray as its new Group Director Human Resources, succeeding Kim Reid. Craig Murray has joined MBDA since 1st May and takes upa role on the MBDA Management Committee.
Born in 1961, Craig began his career in the UK shipbuilding and telecommunications industries. In 1989, he joined the Anglo-French naval command and control systems joint venture company, Dowty-Sema.
During his career within the defence industry, Craig has worked in a variety of HR-related roles across a number of BAE Systems businesses including Royal Ordnance, Combat and Radar Systems (CaRS), Air Systems and, most recently, Insyte.
Apart from Dowty-Sema, Craig’s experience within European businesses includes involvement with EADS and Finmeccanica during his twoyears as HR Director for Eurofighter Typhoon and further involvement with Finmeccanica as he led the integration of BAE Systems’ CaRS into the AMS joint venture company.
Craig succeeds Kim Reid who left the company to set up her own business.

Né en 1961, Craig Murray a commencé sa carrière dans l’industrie de la construction navale et des télécommunications. Il a rejoint en 1989 la société Dowty-Sema, joint-venture dans le domaine des systèmes de commande et contrôle navals.
Il a poursuivi ensuite sa carrière dans l’industrie dedéfense où il a occupé différents postes RH au sein d’activités de BAE Systems, Royal Ordnance, Combat and Radar Systems (CaRS), Air Systems et, dernièrement, Insyte.
L’expérience européenne de Craig Murray, après celle acquise dans la JV franco-britannique Dowty-Sema, s’est complétée avec deux années passées à travailler avec EADS et Finmeccanica en tant que Directeur Ressources Humaines d’Eurofighter et, plus tard, avec Finmeccanica où il a dirigé l’intégration de la filiale CaRS de BAE Systems au sein de la JV AMS.
Craig succède à Kim Reid qui a quitté la société pour développer ses propres activités.

Erfahrungen in Europa sammelte Craig Murray, abgesehen von seiner Tätigkeit bei Dowty-Sema, bei EADS während seiner 2-jährigen Tätigkeit bei Eurofighter Typhoon und Finmeccanica als Verantwortlicher für die Integration von BAE Systems CaRS in das Gemeinschaftsunternehmen AMS.
