Gordon Pitman

Gordon Pitman was appointed Executive Group Director Human Resources in April 2024.

Gordon started his career in FMCG (TK Maxx, Comet plc and Safeway Stores) leading and implementing strategic HR activities and processes as well as doing operational roles in supply chain and retail operations.

Gordon then spent 11 years in coatings and chemicals manufacturing with ICI and AkzoNobel and lived in Canada, The Netherlands and USA.

In 2016, Gordon joined GKN Aerospace as Chief HR Officer and became member of the Aerospace Executive team. GKN Aerospace is a global tier one supplier into all the major Aerospace OEM’s and has business lines covering Civil Airframe, Defense and Engines.

Gordon holds an Msc in Organizational Psychology from the University of Birbeck in London.
