Farnborough 2022: ‘Collaborate to Innovate’ with MBDA
At this year’s Farnborough International Airshow in July, MBDA will have a stand dedicated to meeting any and all suppliers visiting the event who would like to work with the company.
The MBDA ‘Collaborate to Innovate’ stand, will be there to meet and greet, SMEs, research and technology organisations, universities, trade organisations, laboratories and institutes at the show, who are interested in building relationships and partnerships that deliver innovation and technical excellence.
MBDA needs to anticipate the technologies of tomorrow and achieves this through innovation, a core value of the company. Engaging in an ‘open innovation’ approach is an essential part of this value, welcoming collaboration with like-minded partners.
Through collaboration, MBDA is looking to build partnerships that deliver innovation and technical excellence. Identifying the latest technologies and emerging opportunities with its partnerships, the company looks to build enduring relationships that improve the military capabilities of its domestic nations and their allies, protecting their sovereignty. As well as increasing the company’s worldwide competitiveness. Ultimately, delivering against complex weapons operators needs now, and in the future.
Simon Wadey, MBDA lead for Open Innovation, said, “We’re looking forward to this year’s Farnborough International Airshow, hoping to meet and speak to a really wide range of entities, whether working in the aerospace and defence sector or beyond it. Whether or not they have something ready for production today, if attendees at the show think they have something suitable, we’ll be keen to speak to them. So we hope they come and see us on our ‘Collaborate to Innovate’ stand in Hall 4, stand number 4541.”
