DELUGE

ONE WAY EFFECTOR becomes DELUGE.

DELUGE’s aerodynamic profile and mid-altitude flight path combine robustness and operational effectiveness. It features a wingspan of three metres and carries a 50 kg class payload. Propelled by a turbojet engine, it reaches a speed of approximately 400 km/h and offers a range of up to 500 km.

Launched in coordinated salvoes, DELUGE is designed to generate continuous engagement and sustained pressure on adversary air defence systems. Fired from the ground, it supports standoff operations while enabling massified strikes at long range. Its navigation architecture ensures autonomous flight and precise strikes on predefined coordinates, making it a reliable solution for sustained saturation attacks, even in a context of high-intensity conflicts.

THUNDART

THUNDART is a complete artillery system, comprising a launcher with an integrated turret and fire control, two munition pods with 4 guided rockets each. Designed for ground-to-ground engagements far beyond capabilities of in-service system with a range of 150km, it offers increased firepower and saturation capability while maintaining a high level of precision even in contested environments.

Survivability is at the core of the concept, with rapid “shoot and scoot” firing and withdrawal to avoid counter-battery fire. The guidance kit, directly derived from the AASM Hammer already in service on Rafale jet fighter, ensures accelerated development and robustness. THUNDARTS’s long-range aero-propulsive performance, combined with resilient INS/GNSS guidance, allows it to engage fixed or moving targets, even in GNSS-denied or jammed environments. The system is fully autonomous, off-road capable, and interoperable with Armed forces’ information systems such as ATLAS. THUNDART is a unique solution tailored for Battlefield missions in all scenarios and contested environments, including high-intensity conflicts.

LOITERING MUNITIONS

MBDA is adapting to new battlefield developments and to the new requirements of its customers by developing a complete range of remotely controlled ammunition (RCA). The ROMs developed by MBDA combine the accuracy, reliability, agility and mass required for high-intensity conflicts. They offer simplicity of implementation by the armed forces and flexibility of use, simultaneous observation and neutralisation capabilities, the ability to accurately process targets that are only approximately located or identified, in enclosed or hard-to-access environments, and the ability to saturate enemy systems, for a cost that is optimised for mass production and use.

In France, MBDA has developed the AKERON RCX 50 and AKERON RCH 170 remotely operated munitions, integrated into the AKERON family of weapon systems (beyond line of sight firing capability), demonstrating its expertise in this area through the Colibri and Larinae AID projects. Developed in agile mode in partnership with two French UAV manufacturers, Novadem and Delair, these ROMs draw on MBDA's expertise in the fields of guidance and lethality chains, and integrate the latest UAV technologies to create a fully-fledged weapon system.

SKY WARDEN

With SKY WARDEN, MBDA offers an innovative and comprehensive solution to address the challenges posed by new aerial threats such as drones. This one-of-a-kind anti-drone system combines cutting-edge technologies, unprecedented flexibility, and the ability to continuously evolve. With SKY WARDEN, MBDA provides robust, multi-layered pro-tection tailored to the specific needs of both civilian environments in pea-cetime and military environments in wartime.

Thanks to its modularity and the use of various types of effectors, SKY WARDEN offers solutions perfectly adapted to the threat and operatio-nal context, ensuring total control over effects, particularly regarding the

management of potential collateral effect. The system can be used in configurations tailored to the protection of sensi-tive sites—such as port and airport infrastructure, critical infrastructure like power plants—border protection, or the pro-tection of international events in dense urban environments. The system’s effectiveness is also measured by its minimal impact on site operations.

Thanks to the integration of numerous sensors and its AI-based command and control system, SKY WARDEN also provides extremely reliable detection and identification capabilities, enabling analysis and response in all situations, par-ticularly in urban environments where airspace is complex. The system thus ensures optimal protection against a wide variety of drones, ranging from small remote-controlled models to larger aircraft, within a 7-kilometer radius. Its jamming system, combined with drone-interceptor technologies such as the Hit-to-Kill drone developed by MBDA, enables the system to counter drones that may be operated for intelligence gathering or as part of subversive operations ranging from terrorism to acts of sabotage. Finally, the system offers rapid on-site integration and deployment capabilities, parti-cularly due to its small footprint. SKY WARDEN was designed to minimize the cognitive load on operators, allowing it to be operated by non-specialized personnel.

In October 2025, SKY WARDEN demonstrated its full effectiveness during an exercise organized by the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (Frontex) to evaluate, under real-world conditions, solutions for countering the use of drones for illegal purposes at the European Union’s borders. The SKY WARDEN system was named “the most effective system for protecting EU borders” (Frontex C-UAS Award 2025).

MBDA thus offers its customers a mature SKY WARDEN system, capable of being deployed in both peacetime and wartime, with a combat-ready solution.

In France, the revision of the legal framework related to the use of anti-drone measures on national territory paves the way for enhanced protection of “Critical Infrastructure Operators” against drones, for which the SKY WARDEN system is a solution fully compatible with the French SGDSN requirements.

This civil application is also available for SEA WARDEN, the naval version of the system.

SAMP/T NG

SAMP/T NG is a highly mobile, vertically launched anti-missile and anti-aircraft weapon providing theatre protection of sensitive sites and deployed forces. Highly automated and featuring extremely rapid response times, the system can operate in standalone mode or be integrated within a coordinated network.

ASTER is a two-stage missile, a concept that leads to maximum lethality against the most demanding targets. The solid propellant booster ensures the optimum shaping of the missile’s trajectory in the direction of the target and separates a few seconds after the vertical launch.

LAND CRUISE MISSILE SYSTEM (LCMS)

The LCM represents a new missile system pushing the boundaries of ground-launched deep strike. With a range exceeding 1,000 km, it will provide armed forces with the ability to engage a wide target set at very long range while maintaining exceptional precision and lethality. The ground launching unit can deploy up to four missiles, offering significant firepower combined with flexibility and responsiveness. The LCM allows synchronised time-on-target operations, allowing multiple missiles to strike simultaneously and penetrate any defence.

The missile is designed to penetrate modern enemy integrated air defence systems (IADS) thanks to its outstanding penetration capability, reduced radar cross section, and terrain-following flight profile. Combining range, survivability, precision and lethality, the LCM is an extremely versatile solution suited to a wide spectrum of missions.
