The Land Cruise Missile (LCM) is a ground-launched very long-range deep strike capability for high-intensity conflicts. The LCM is built on the combat-proven Naval Cruise Missile (NCM), in service with the French Navy on both frigates and attack submarines. By harnessing the performance of an in-service missile, MBDA ensures a solution that is both mature and brought to market quickly.

The LCM benefits from decades of operational feedback and technological mastery in long-range strike missions. It reflects MBDA’s ability to match multi-domains requirements while maintaining high levels of reliability, performance, and readiness.

Pushing the boundaries of deep strike capabilities

The LCM represents a new missile system pushing the boundaries of ground-launched deep strike. With a range exceeding 1,000 km, it will provide armed forces with the ability to engage a wide target set at very long range while maintaining exceptional precision and lethality. The ground launching unit can deploy up to four missiles, offering significant firepower combined with flexibility and responsiveness. The LCM allows synchronised time-on-target operations, allowing multiple missiles to strike simultaneously and penetrate any defence.

The missile is designed to penetrate modern enemy integrated air defence systems (IADS) thanks to its outstanding penetration capability, reduced radar cross section, and terrain-following flight profile. Combining range, survivability, precision and lethality, the LCM is an extremely versatile solution suited to a wide spectrum of missions.
