Customer Support and Services (CSS) consists of skilled specialists and professionals who represent the customer within MBDA and who are the face of MBDA to our customers.
CSS activities begin at the design phase to ensure that MBDA products are optimised for availability, and ease of support and maintenance. Once our products enter service, and are used by armed forces across the World, our teams are dedicated to delivering the highest levels of weapon system availability and continuously enhancing the end user experience.
Our support is global, our dedication total, and our support solutions tailored to the end users’ missions and operational needs. We are committed to supporting our products throughout their entire service life.
In support of these objectives, CSS offers a full range of solutions and services for all MBDA products.

CSS at your serviceIntegrated Logistics Support
We are responsible for the development of support solutions for MBDA’s systems and equipment. In early programme phases, and as an integral part of MBDA development teams, we influence product design to optimise supportability and develop the necessary logistic support resources required to ensure their effective operation and maintenance.
Technical Documentation
We offer state-of-the-art documentation for our systems and equipment, providing customers with technical information and instructions necessary for the safe and effective operation, maintenance and support of all our products.
Training
Initial and ongoing training is essential for maintaining our systems and equipment in a safe and usable operational condition. That is why we offer our customers a range of solutions based on state-of-the-art courses, training on scenarios based on cutting-edge simulation tools.
Infrastructures and Facilities
We offer a comprehensive range of infrastructure solutions for the storage, maintenance, training and operation of our products. Each solution is tailored to the requirements of the product, is designed to ensure staff safety and is adapted to the client’s specific regulations and context.
Technical Support
We are the design authority for our products and we maintain the skills needed to answer questions and resolve issues that our customers may have. We provide technical support services throughout the product’s entire service life, sometimes a long time after initial product delivery.
Field Support
Our team of engineers, possessing a broad range of skills, knowledge and experience, enable us to support our customers all around the world and to build trusted, long-term relationships. On request, we are on hand to assist end users during firing tests.
Supply Support
We have created a one-stop shop for our customers’ requirements in terms of repairs, spare parts and consumables. We handle the end-to-end flow of parts, from customer orders to deliveries.
Information Management Solutions
We provide state-of-the-art telecommunications and IT systems that ensure seamless remote assistance support to our customers for their systems and equipment. We also maintain databases that keep us informed about the status of our equipment to ensure consistency of support operations.
Maintenance Operations
We share with our customers the objective of maximising the availability of the equipment delivered. To this end, we are able to carry out maintenance operations on all our products, wherever and whenever they are needed, at MBDA or even at our customers’ premises.
Test Solutions
We provide advanced test solutions to enable customers maintain munition stockpile and weapon system availability, through life. To ensure customers are equipped with the necessary capability, we develop a fit-for-purpose range of test solutions.
Mid-life Refurbishment
Whenever necessary, we carry out end-to-end refurbishment operations, and changes to improve performance, ultimately guaranteeing the best possible operating condition over extended periods.
End-of-life Solutions
We provide safe and secure disposal services, including all logistics and demilitarisation operations for end-of-life equipment. Our solutions guarantee operational safety, confidentiality, and compliance with applicable environmental regulations. They are adapted to each context and can be carried out in France or locally.
