During Eurosatory, several cooperations between MBDA and Defence companies have been announced, reflecting on MBDA’s DNA of cooperation.

Amongst them, the Partnership Agreement with Unifly, a global leader in UAS Traffic Management (UTM) technology.
The agreement signed in the presence of Flemish Minister-President Matthias Diependaele, will initially focus on Flanders as a reference case, with the ambition to explore opportunities for deployment in other markets worldwide.
As drone activity continues to grow, governments and organisations require trusted solutions that can detect, identify and respond to aerial threats while integrating with existing UAS traffic management systems. Through this collaboration, MBDA and Unifly will work together to address this need with a future-ready approach designed to evolve with emerging threats. By combining MBDA’s expertise in air defence systems, with Unifly’s operationally proven UTM platform, successfully deployed in multiple operational environments worldwide, the partnership aims to support the safe and secure management of unmanned aerial threats around military sites, critical infrastructure, airports, ports, public events and other security sensitive environments.
MBDA has developed a multilayered portfolio, from anti-drone with SKY WARDEN system, to the most high-end threats. Together, we aim at combining our complementary expertise to face increasingly complex aerial threats, thus protecting Belgium skies and beyond.

Also, during Eurosatory, we signed an agreement with Terma, a global organization based in Denmark developing and manufacturing mission-critical products and solutions.

The partnership aims at strengthening European resilience and industrial base. The importance of the deal was underlined by the attendance of French Minister Delegate for Industry Sébastien Martin and Danish Minister of Business and Competitiveness Martin Lidegaard. The deal is expected to generate new defense solutions, strengthen Danish industry, and support future export growth for both companies.
The cooperation goes beyond traditional industrial participation and includes joint development activities in the naval domain. The agreement also creates significant export potential and will enable Terma and MBDA to develop new solutions that help allies strengthen their air defense capabilities and maritime security.

For MBDA, this agreement marks the first step of a long-term cooperation with Terma and the Danish industry. It also reinforces our partnership with Denmark, after the selection of our sovereign air defence systems to protect its skies.

At MBDA, co-operation is our strength. Today more than ever, we can see how it is through co-operation that we support the reinforcement of our countries’ sovereignty, and help ensure the safety of our people.
