From September 29th to October 2nd 2025, MBDA is at SEAFUTURE 2025 tradeshow, to reaffirm its position as the unique multi‑national European group delivering end‑to‑end defence solutions. With one of its production site in La Spezia - Italy’s historic anti‑ship hub - the company will highlight during this event its comprehensive portfolio, that defends the maritime domain alongside other domains, while supporting Italy, Europe, and allies worldwide.

In a time of geopolitical tension and the European rearmament, MBDA brings decades of experience to provide the most effective and precise complex weapon systems, and deliver them at pace. With over 60 years of missile expertise in Italy and more than 25 years as a European group, MBDA has increased manufacturing and production activities in 2025. These efforts are supported by significant investments, including about €300 million in Italy over five years and an intent of €2.4 billion at group level between 2025 and 2030.

During SEAFUTURE 2025, visitors will discover the complete, multi‑layer portfolio of MBDA for maritime and air defence, from loitering munitions to the latest generations of the MARTEEXOCET and ASTER families, to MISTRAL for naval applications, to the VSHROAD system FULGUR which can be navalised, plus the latest anti‑ship systems like TESEO

Recent key achievements include successful ASTER firings, as well as the development of MBDA loitering munitions family. These systems demonstrate rapid maturation from concept to capability, offering multi-platform and multi mission suitability, developed in collaboration with Italian SMEs, among others.

Among the most advanced projects of MBDA is the new anti‑ship TESEO MK2/E , designed in partnership with the Italian Navy. This system allows enhanced mission planning that includes in-flight missile control via a satellite data link, an innovative RF seeker, and full in‑flight mission control. Together with its various missiles & missile systems, MBDA ensures a layered defence across domains, ready to fight against all evolving threats.

Cooperation and sovereignty remain central to MBDA’s DNA. By keeping design authority in Europe and actively contributing to EU defence initiatives, the company strengthens independence and ensures allies have decisive capabilities.

At SEAFUTURE 2025, MBDA demonstrates that meaningful and essential defence solutions are ready to protect nations, citizens, and assets today and tomorrow.
