Paris Air Show 2025

From June 16th to June 22nd, the Paris Air Show welcomed professionals and the general public. Civil aviation, defence, space... the key players of these sectors presented their latest innovations. For the occasion, the MBDA teams were on the spot with strong ambitions: to showcase their job opportunities and their commitments.

Throughout the week, MBDA teams were present to introduce visitors to the meaning of their mission, their day-to-day activities, the job opportunities the company offers, and to promote their commitments through dedicated activities and events.

Future-Oriented Recruitment Activities

On public open days, from Friday to Sunday, the recruitment teams were present at the MBDA booth to welcome potential candidates, answer their questions, and introduce them to various professional opportunities. Nearby, at the corporate booth which welcomed thousands of visitors during the fair, candidates were able to discover the whole MBDA's value chain and the various jobs that compose it through an interactive device.

From Monday to Sunday, MBDA also participated in the “Avion des Métiers” (Careers Plane), a 3,000m² space offering demonstrations, simulators, and the presence of some MBDA employees dedicated to fostering careers. With their stand dedicated to the electronics engineering profession, MBDA employees were able to share their passion with visitors.

VIP tours were also organized for students from the company's partner schools. The program included a guided tour of the MBDA stand and lunch on the MBDA chalet terrace, right next to the runway, while watching airshows and interacting with MBDA passionate colleagues. In total, 90 students were able to share this experience with the teams.

Furthermore, MBDA has signed a sponsorship agreement with the Institut Supérieur de l'Aéronautique et de l'Espace (ISAE) SUPAERO. This sponsorship will fund 12 scholarships between 2025 and 2028, to support students in their path to engineering careers. This initiative is important to us, encouraging equal opportunities and supporting the leaders of tomorrow through training.

Strong commitments and concrete actions for equality and inclusion

This show is also a great opportunity to showcase MBDA’s commitment in favour of equality, diversity, and inclusion. The feminization of professions and their accessibility for all is at the heart of the company's actions. Although initiatives are dedicated to this issue throughout the year, several special events were organised this week at Paris Air Show.

The InspiringWomen@MBDA France women's network was able to speak at a networking event, and our sponsor employees from the Elles Bougent association welcomed middle and high school students, to make them discover Defence sector around the booth and discuss their career paths. As part of the "Women of Defence" event organized by Aérométiers, high school students were also able to learn about careers in the aeronautics and defence sector by visiting the booths of companies in the sector, including MBDA's, and interacting with the teams.

In terms of inclusion, in partnership with Hanvol, a delegation of job-seeking candidates with disabilities was received at the MBDA stand and then participated in a job dating event with the recruitment teams of the event's partner companies.

This year, MBDA is recruiting over 2,600 people across Europe, among which over 1,000 people in France, ready to commit to our mission. Join us! What we do matters, because defence matters.
