DSEI 2025

Drawing from operational insights and recent conflict dynamics, MBDA is engineering solutions tailored to the modern battlefield. Through a “high-low” mix of equipment, MBDA is reshaping the economics of warfare by ensuring affordability, scalability and mass in its solutions. This includes a suite of cost-effective capabilities tailored to counter low-value threats at scale.

At the heart of MBDA’s strategy is a commitment to delivering innovative next-generation technologies that include among other technologies Artificial Intelligence, Quantum, Data, Robotics & Autonomous Systems, Electronics & Electromagnetics, Hypersonic, Raw materials or Virtual & Augmented Reality. These capabilities are designed to address the rapidly shifting nature of modern warfare, combining speed, precision, and resilience across multi-domain operations.

Earlier in the year, we unveiled the DELUGE (ex-ONE WAY EFFECTOR), a long range strike drone that can be produced in mass at lower cost. At DSEI, we are introducing a new member of the DELUGE family with an extended range and heavier warhead: CROSSBOW™ the ONE WAY EFFECTOR HEAVY.

Also making its debut is AKERON MBT 120, a barrel-launched Non-Line-of-Sight (NLOS) missile, which will revolutionise the capability of existing Main Battle Tank.

For more than three decades, MBDA has led the way in directed energy weapons (DEW), championing low-cost-per-shot systems that redefine lethality and sustainability.

In response to urgent operational needs, MBDA has also rapidly adapted ASRAAM, an air-launched missile, into a unique, ground-based air defence solution.

We will be highlighting our contribution to collaborative defence projects, including the STRATUS, new name for the FC/ASW programme, Europe’s next-generation deep-strike missile system which builds on a legacy of success with systems such as SCALP / STORM SHADOW, METEOR, and ASTER. This programme aims to deliver advanced strike capabilities against surface targets, air defences and high-value airborne assets.

STRATUS features two missile types, launched from both air and naval platforms, combining speed, agility, and stealth to operate in high-threat environments.

MBDA is also presenting its SPEAR family of precision munition, offering a mix of high-end and cost-effective solutions designed for precise tactical strikes with minimal collateral damage and increased aircraft survivability.

In air defence, MBDA is showcasing SKY WARDEN, a flexible system designed to protect critical assets and military units. With its modular, multi-sensor setup, it delivers real-time situational awareness and controls various weapons, including the HELMA P laser.

The range of breakthrough technologies reaffirms our position at the forefront of defence innovation, and our ability to respond to the next generation of strategic and tactical challenges.

MBDA’s presence at DSEI 2025 exemplifies its leadership in delivering integrated, scalable and advanced defence systems that drives the future of defence with a relentless focus on innovation, technical excellence and rapid delivery.

In an era where threats are complex and the tempo of change is accelerating, MBDA is pioneering advanced capabilities to maintain operational superiority and deliver mission advantage. We remain focused on delivering future-ready capabilities at pace.
