For several weeks now, we have noticed an increase of cyberattacks, and more especially of Internet URL creations that register a domain name very close to the legitimate domain name of MBDA (official domain: www.mbda-systems.com), but also very close to domain names of many other actors of the Defence Technological and Industrial Base (DTIB), present in France and Europe.

These URLs manipulations are not caused by MBDA and are not under the responsibility of MBDA.

These pirate domain names can be used to carry out attacks on third parties, by impersonating companies, usurping their identity, sending fake orders by email, or any other more sophisticated attack.

MBDA has already alerted all its suppliers and key stakeholders and has invited them to raise their level of vigilance for any unusual request by email.
