On 27 May 2026, Eric Béranger, CEO of MBDA, and Stéphane Reb, Executive Vice President of Programmes and Managing Director of France, had the pleasure of welcoming Patrick Pailloux, the new General Delegate for Armaments (DGA), to our sites in the Centre Region.
Receiving a warm welcome from MBDA teams, the delegation visited the sites in Bourges Subdray, Bourges Airport, and Selles-Saint-Denis to explore the industrial and technological capabilities implemented by the business in the support of European sovereignty and the needs of the armed forces.
The discussions focused on MBDA's ongoing efforts to increase its production capacities to meet current and future security and defence challenges. In a context marked by accelerating defence needs in Europe, MBDA is undergoing a major transformation of its industrial process. Between 2023 and 2025, we doubled our production and plan a further 40% increase in 2026.
At group level, more than €5 billion of investments are committed between 2026 and 2030 to strengthen European sovereign capabilities.
This visit highlights the importance of dialogue and cooperation between the DGA and defence contractors to support the rearmament effort and prepare the technological capabilities of the future.
