Manlio Cuccaro

Manlio Cuccaro was appointed MBDA’s Executive Group Director Technology and Performance in January 2020 with the main missions to lead the company innovation and technology identification/exploitation/insertion to prepare the new product portfolio and to lead the company quality organisation, the technical excellence and the improvement projects to help the company to get better business performances.

Prior to joining MBDA, Manlio was in Leonardo’s Land and Naval Defence Electronics Business Unit. Manlio has more than 30 years’ experience working in Aerospace, Defence and Telecommunications. This includes 15 years working in a number of senior Business Development and Sales roles in Airbus. Manlio joined Leonardo in 2010 and has worked in Leonardo’s Airborne, Space and Communications businesses, taking up the position of Managing Director Land and Naval Defence Electronics in 2018.
