MCM-ITP - Materials and Components for Missiles, Innovation and Technology Partnership

A collaborative research programme delivering innovation to future European Complex Weapons

Welcome to the Materials and Components for Missiles Innovation and Technology Partnership (MCM ITP) website. A UK MoD and French DGA sponsored research programme, jointly funded by the industrial and academic research partners, that brings together the best in Anglo-French Missile research and technology (R&T).

The programme offers two funding opportunities, open to academia, SMEs, research centres and large companies from the UK and France. There is an Annual Call for Proposals and an Innovation Fund.

Annual Call for Proposals

The MCM ITP holds an annual call for research proposals, whereby initial proposal summaries must be submitted to the respective Domain Leads for review and assessment. Following this pre-selection, a detailed proposal will be requested for submission to the Customer for review and final approval. Please note that it is desirable that research proposals are collaborative across UK and France and include participation from an SME and / or academic organisation.

Registration for the 2013 MCM-ITP Conference in Lille is now open. Please visit http://www.mcmitp.com/ for more information and to register your place.

MCM ITP Innovation Fund

The MCM ITP Innovation Fund is a distinct funding opportunity, focusing on the assessment of emerging research considered too high risk for initial investment within the Annual Call for Proposals. Following a successful conclusion of an Innovation Fund study, projects may migrate to the primary funding stream. Innovation Fund proposals should be submitted direct to MBDA.
