Werner KALTENEGGER
Werner KALTENEGGER was appointed Executive Group Director of Improvement in January 2008, in addition to his existing responsibilities as Managing Director of LFK-Lenkflugkörpersysteme GmbH / MBDA Deutschland, a role which he has held since the integration of EADS / LFK into MBDA in 2006.
Prior to integration and since 2001, he had been President and CEO of the EADS Guided Missiles Business Unit having previously been the Unit’s Head of Logistics and Integration (since 2000). Between 1996 and 2001, Werner KALTENEGGER also simultaneously held the position of President and CEO of TDW GmbH.
In 1995, with the foundation of the Franco-German joint venture TDA/TDW (Thomson-CSF/Dasa), Werner KALTENEGGER became Head of the Aircr’aft Armament Business Unit in Paris with commercial responsibility for three sites in Germany, France and Belgium.
After graduation he joined Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm GmbH (MBB) in 1984 as a development engineer eventually going on to be appointed Head of Product Segments (warheads, submunitions, fusing systems) in 1992).
He graduated as an engineer in Production and Manufacturing Technology form the Technical University of Munich.
Werner KALTENEGGER was born in 1951 in Schrobenhausen.
