Patrick TRAMIER

Patrick TRAMIER was appointed Executive Director Programmes in January 2008. Prior to this latest appointment within MBDA, Patrick TRAMIER has been Group Director of Product Lines, a role he had carried out since January 2007.

Between 2003 and 2007, Patrick TRAMIER held the position of Director, Sales and Business Development for France.

In 1998 following the formation of Matra BAe Dynamics, Patrick TRAMIER took up the role of Programme Director for French air-to-air programmes which involved, among others, Magic and MICA missiles. In due course he became responsible for the Exocet MM40 Block3 programme.

In 1990, he joined Matra Défense where until 1998 he was responsible for Matra missile integration programmes on Mirage, Rafale and the helicopter Tigre.

After graduating, Patrick TRAMIER started his career by joining the French DGA (Délégation générale pour l’Armement) at the Centre d’Essais des Landes (CEL) where he held various positions relating to missiles testing.

He is an engineering graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique (1975-1978) and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de l’Aéronautique et de l’Espace (1978-1980) in France.

Patrick TRAMIER was born in 1959 in Ténira (now in Algeria) and is married with four children.
